word 2007 not compatible with word 2003?

i made a form in ms word 2007 and sent it to my wife's computer which has ms
word 2003. Form comes up on her computer in all jibberish. how do i correct
this?

Did you save it in Word 97-2003 format? (Use the "Save as type" dropdown at the
bottom of the Save As dialog, or the Word 97-2003 item on the Save menu.)

Word 2007 uses a file format that is incompatible (out of the box) with Word
2003. You can either adopt the ploy suggested by Jay, or given that you are
likely to share documents with your wife again, you could download and
install the 2007 compatibility pack on your wife's computer.
