Word 2007 No Add-Ins tab when using 2003 template

The subject says it all.

I load in a document template created in Word 2003. That template includes
macros and a custom toolbar.

According to the help, I should see an Add-Ins tab somewhere on the ribbon
and the buttons on the custom toolbar will be available there but nothing is
appearing.

So the only way to run the macros is to pick them from the Macros list.

Any ideas?

Many thanks for your help.

The template is located in a shared templates folder which is used as the
address for "Group Templates" in Word's "File Locations" option.

Re-saving it with the custom Toolbar displayed was enough for it to show up,
and it has also appeared on the Quick Launch toolbar in the window's title
bar.

Cheers
