Word 2007 loses formatting each time after closing...

Not all formatting, but the 'style' changes as far as the 'outline' is
concerned. I have a simple, but large document that I have seperated by only
2 styles: Normal and Heading 1. When using the 'Document Map' I can quickly
move between my categories using Heading 1, which shows up as 'Level 1' in
the outline format. The problem is that each time I close the file and then
reopen it, a few hundred lines of text have suddenly lost their 'normal'
setting and have become 'Level 1' when looking at the Outline, thus making my
Document Map a mess. Any ideas?

You may also want to try this: In Office button | Word Options, Proofing
category, click the AutoCorrect Options button. In the dialog box, click the
AutoFormat As You Type tab. Clear the "Define styles based on your
formatting" option. Click OK, OK.
