Word 2007 - edit vs. print preview mode doesn't show all images, l

Help! I am using Word 2007 on a system running XP.

When I open a doc that has any email addresses as part of the text, it shows
them as the following in 'edit' mode:
{HYPERLINK "mailto:[email protected]" }

instead of as (e-mail address removed) underlined to show it is an email.
When I to to print preview, it displays it correctly.

I have similar problems with headers I have added - they are gone when I try
to look at the document, but are there if preview. I need to be able to see
these things correctly while I am editing the document.

I figure there must be a setting somewhere that I have to change. Can
someone PLEASE help??

Thanks,
Catherine

Press Alt+F9 to toggle between field codes (what you see now) and
field results (the hyperlinks).

For the headers, move the cursor to the top of the page until the
cursor changes to a pair of boxes containing arrows (the tooltip says
"Double-click to show white space") and double-click there. When white
space is hidden, headers and footers are also hidden -- it's to make
it easier to read from the end of one page to the top of the next
without the intervening extras. See
