Word 2007 - Edit a button image

How do I edit my button images in Word 2007? In 2003, I could customize the
toolbar, right-click on the button and choose edit button image.

Button images in Word 2007 cannot be edited--at least not by the ordinary
end user.

What a bummer. I really will miss making my macros for Letter be a red L,
Faxes template macros a F etc. I used to customize a lot. Hard to believe
they would take something away. There are not many button image choices
when modifying the button. Guess I should make it a suggestion?

As for making a suggestion that this capability be added back, I believe
Microsoft has heard this loud and clear already - many are unhappy with this
limitation.
