Word 2003 SP2 Docs open very slowly via Search

Hi,

I regularly use the Search facilty to find Word Documents and open them. I
open the docs using double-click. Sometimes the doc opens in a few seconds,
but occasionally it takes upwards of a minute. Why is this, and is there
anything I can do to speed up the process?
