why does my "Attach as Acrobat" toolbar reappear after I disable it
(tools>customize)?

I'm referring to the "attach as Adobe PDF" toolbar that appears in addition
to the "PDFmaker" toolbar. It does not appear in the list of templates and
add-ins.
I'm using Acrobat Pro 6.0, and Acrobat Distiller 6.0.

That one only appears if you use Word as e-mail editor (which I don't). I
suspect it is placed by PDFMOutlook.dll. You could try unregistering this
DLL, though using Outlook's own editor is probably easier.

Thanks you headed me in the right direction.
I ran a search for "PDFMoutlook.dll", then I renamed it "PDFMoutlook.dll.old"
The pesky toolbar has stopped appearing in both Word and Outlook.
