Word 2003 - how to remove "delete block" prompt

In 2003, when I highlight a block of text and hit the "delete" button, a
window pops up to confirm the delete. How do I get rid of this annoying
feature?
 
From the FAQ:

24. When I try to delete I have to confirm it.
Tools => Options => General -- uncheck the two Word Perfect
options
