Word 2003 Headers and Footers

Clicking on Header and Footer in the View menu does not insert the header and
footer into the document. I have checked that I am in "Print" view and have
run the repair programme - nothing has helped! Does anyone know how I can fix
this??
 
Try double clicking in the top margin of the document.
