word 2003 file recovery

Hi there, I had a very important document written on a word file, Im sure I
saved it, even if i didnt, it would ask me if I wanna save the new
things/changes.. which didnt happened.. so I closed my file and when I opened
it again, it was the old version and non of my new stuff was there.. any idea
about that? I d really appreciate for your help

If you didn't save it, which appears to be the case, there is nothing to
recover.
