Word 2003--Can't change margins in Page Set-up

I have tried many ways. Always get the Pop-Up that says, "Incresasing right
margin causes last column to become too narrow in same sections having
unevenly spaced columns".

Go to Format | Columns, click on the preset picture for One, click OK, and
then try again.
