Word 2003 AutoComplete

Is there a Collect Words function in Word 2003's AutoComplete like there is
in Open Office 2.2? It automatically suggests completions for words used
often in the particular document. The list of often-used-words could then be
saved for future documents.

Thanks for the help!

Word has two different functions, AutoCorrect
(http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AutoCorrect.htm) and AutoText
(http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/AutoText.htm). What you're
thinking of is more like AutoCorrect.

In Word's jargon, AutoComplete isn't a separate function; it's the little
yellow tag that pops up when you type something that Word recognizes as the
beginning of the name of an AutoText entry.

The AutoCorrect Dialogue window has a tab called AutoText. It has a box which
can be checked (or not) for Show AutoComplete Suggestions. My question was
about a 'sub-function' (automatic word collection) that would fall under this
AutoComplete function.

Word has AutoComplete in Word 2003, but it does not have the power to
somehow intuitively add words to your AutoText library. You have to do this
manually.
