Is there a way to convert files in Word 2002 from
downloded HTML documents (saved as Web pges) to .doc
files in a quick, efficient, and easy way? I am trying to
convert many, many HTML files to Word .coc files but have
to do this only one by one by opening the file and saving
it as a Word document. The files in question are cooking
and recipe files and many others from websites I visit.
One by one converting is long, laborious, and tedious.
Can anyone help? Thanks very much.

There is a batch conversion wizard that should do the trick. If Micorosoft
Office is installed in the default location, it should be located in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\1033. Look for a file called
Batch Conversion Wizard.Wiz. Double click it, and a wizard will appear that
will walk you through the process. One note - it's best to place all the
files to be converted into a single folder, with no other files in it.
