Word 2002 opens with curser at very top of page

When I open Word 2002 the curser is against the top of the page. My margins
are set to 1 inch all around. If I print, it is set down 1 inch as the margin
should be but it just doesn't show on screen.

How do I get the curser down where it belongs?

Marty,

If your are in Normal view shift to Print Layout view. View>Printlayout.

If you are in print layout already, then go to Tools>Options>View and check
the option to show white space between pages.

I've spent hours searching for this answer and I'm a microsoft partner. Duh!
Several of my customers also have the same situation.
