Alternate-i-s command to insert symbols: when I insert small a with a long
sign (bar) above it, there is no problem; however, when I insert a capital A
with a long sign over it, followed by another letter (I have tried b, B and
N) and then the space bar, the program stops working (the cursor freezes, and
the arrow will only appear on the part of the screen outside the word window.
the only solution seems to be to exit the program through control-alt-delete.
