Word (2002) and PDF files

When trying to insert a PDF file into a Word document, the option to do so
isnt available from Insert - Object. I have installed ALL components and
options in Office. Laptop is running Windows XP Pro, Office XP pro, and Adobe
Acrobat Reader 6.
Can anyone advise what to try?
 
You can't insert a PDF as a displayed object in Word because Acrobat doesn't
support that.
 
Thanks for posting so quickly, but I can do it on my own PC running Windows
2000 with Office XP.
