Word 2000 not responding...

When launching Word 2000, it immediatelt freezes. Bring up task manafger and
it has 2 occurences of Word 2000 with message 'not responding'.
Purchased computer new with trial version Word 2003. When it expired I
installed my old Word 2000 since I didn't need more. Computer mfger has been
unable to help. All they have me do is uninstall and reinstall.
I created a 2nd user and set it up there and it works fine, but I need it in
my user setup.
