Word 2000 - Formatting Fractions

Guest

MS Word 2000 formats 1/4, 1/2 automatically. Other fractions need to be done
by selecting fraction and than reducing font size. Is there a way to include
other fractions into automatic format along with 1/4 and 1/2?

Thanks

This exchange addresses the issue in Word 2000, but I have Word 2003. The
currency option in symbols only has 1/8, 3/8, 5/8, 7/8 along with the
standard 1/4, 1/2, 3/4. What do I do about 1/3, 2/3 fractions for recipes?

Thanks!

Word 2003 presents no difference. If you don't have a font with the required
characters (and you probably won't) then a macro or field solution is the
only alternative. See also http://www.gmayor.com/createfraction.htm

1/3 and 2/3 are part of the same sequence in Insert | Symbol that includes
1/8, 3/8, etc.
