Word 2000 automatically increases.....

Hello all

I am using Word 2000 and saving documents in the
format "Word 97-2000 &6.0/95 -rtf(*.doc). The intention to
save like this when the end user do not have word, it
opens in notepad. But the cause is the word 2000 document
while saving in the format results in increase in the
document size, that is from 4 mb to 61 mb. I could not get
the solution.

Please provide the solution at the earliest.
