Won't Shutdown

Why doesn't Outlook 2000 shut down when I click on EXIT. I
have tried everything I can think of but it won't shut
down. I have to open task manager and stop the task. I
have SP-3 installed. Thanks in advance for ANY help.

Some common reasons why Outlook will not shut down completely when you click
either the X or Exit:

1. PDA synchronization software with your PDA in the cradle.
2. WinFax Pro (especially 10.02 in Outlook 2003) - contact their support
for an alleged fix.
3. Franklin-Cover Plan Plus!
4. COM Add-ins.
5. Mail reminder add-ins that keep a stub of Outlook open in the background
to check for new mail and fire reminders.
6. Anti-virus/firewall programs that are set to scan incoming and outgoing
mail.

Hi,

I have checked everything in the list below to see why I have some
users who can't shut outlook 2000 down and they have nothing in the
list below.

Does anyone have any ideas what else I can check. It is only affecting
3-4 users, they don't have fax software, pdas or anything else I can
see..what else could it be..

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks
Nicola
