Outlook 2000 Won't Shut Down

Outlook 2000 won't shut down on exit. The
interface/application closes but the small dialog
box "Please wait while Microsoft Outlook closes" just sits
on the desktop. A quick Ctrl-Alt-Delete shows Outlook
still running. It has to be killed from the Task Manager
to get it to shut down.

Are you using any program that accesses outlook data? ActiveSync, winfax, stamps.com etc.
