Wont shutdown

I keep on having problems with shutting down. Even Log off does not. Yet
if i go to ctrl-alt-del, I can Log off then the option to shut down and it
does. However, I also have a message in McAfee that I have virus in; <C
windows\system32\lol.dll>. Then :"the file lol.dll could not be cleaned(or
deleted). check access rights to media where file is located" It showed
as: W32/tumbi/worm.dll. I wonder if this is causing the problem?

Well, you need to fix the virus first or we'll never know. Check with
McAfee.
