Won't shutdown!

Every time I try to shut down, after the "saving your
settings" box, the box and the mouse icon dissappears but
the computer never shuts down and it just stays on the
background forever. Anyone know how I can fix this? (my e-
mail ends with .com)

Try using shutdown.exe from resource kit with /C option
which will force to close the pplications running.
