Won't send mail when outbox is open

Hi,

If I am looking at the outbox and do a Tools/Send-Receive/Send All,
nothing happens.

After that, even if I go back to the inbox the message in the outbox will
never be sent.

I can drag the message back to the inbox, and then send it again. That
works.

I'm using OL 2003.

Any idea how to correct this?

BTW I do NOT automatically send. I only use the Tools menu when I want
to send.

This can occur if your Outlook is in offline mode, please check this setting.

Hi,

File/Work-Offline is NOT checked so I guess I'm not in offline mode. Is
there another offline/online setting?

BTW, I am not using an Exchange server. I'm using POP3 mail.
