Won't Save

I've built a movie (372 MB) 24 minutes in length. It hangs at the saving
portion and then does the typical message (same as posted on papajohn). I
have tried to reduce the movie down, but then it's such an arduous task -
it's a wedding video. I did make a test movie and it saved fine. What can I
do? I went out and bought 256 RAM yesterday and that didn't help. My CPU
jumps to 100% immediately and then freezes. I've shut my system down,
rebooted, everything. I'm so desperate here! Can anyone help me. This was
a wedding gift for someone and the thought of not being able to save it is
heartbreaking. Any advice on how to save this would be greatly appreciated.

I'm doing exactly the same.... took over 4 hours of video last week at a
wedding and the movies/website is my wedding gift. I'm approaching it in a
very modular way, making little videos of individual scenes and then adding
them together later for the bigger DVD production. I'm working at the
sub-project level to avoid such issues.
