Cannot save to DVD an "error" has occurred?!?!?!

I am BEYOND frustrated with Movie Maker! I have been able save movies to
DVD's in the past - no problem. I do NOT have internet exp7, I have cleaned
up, defrag'd, run a virus scan, etc - nothing helps. After the files are
"converted" to save to DVD, the computer pops open, ejects the disk and I get
the error Message, "Movie Maker cannot save to DVD an error has occurred" -
and thats it! No error number or anything. I tried saving it as a Video
file to CD-R and even that was weird - it copied all the music but only half
of the pics - the music kept going?!? I am at a loss. This DVD movie is a
gift for my bro who recently was married. I have their dating photos,
weddding shower, wedding, and reception all in a 27min time frame and set to
music. The file is ... if I remember right 408MB. PLEASE HELP!!!

Windows Movie Maker CANNOT save direct to DVD. You must save as a DV-AVI
file and then use your third party burning software (Nero, Roxio or whatever
you have) to create the DVD.

Still me - just needed to correct myself - the file is 8.150MB. It WILL save
to email as WMV but it plays back in a tiny 1x1" box?

Thanks for the response, unfortunately I am not given a choice as to the file
type it saves as.

When I click on "Save to DVD", Movie Maker says "your project is being saved
so it can be copied to a DVD". My computer goes through all the motions and
THEN after "converting the files" that's when I get the error message and it
ejects the DVD...?

Use the Save to My Computer option, use the drop down box to save as DV-AVI.
