Won't save to final

Everytime my son trys to save his raw cuts to a final
mpeg for dvd or even on the hard drive .. it always says
it cant cause I havent set up room to do it. Well... the
empty directory is there and waiting and it still says
that. It wont even let me save directly to a CD.. Any
sugestions?

If the size of the file is over 4gb, is the drive formatted in NTFS... FAT32
has a file size limitation of 4gb. Bear in mind that one hour of DV-AVI is
around 13gb.
