I have got a new computer and I'm using my OLD monitor (LG Studioworks
520Si). It shows that new hardware is connected. I've downloaded the monitor
driver, but when I've used the hardware wizard it comes up with an error "The
hardware was not installed because the wizard can not find the necessary
software." What can I do?

You've downloaded the driver software but did you install it?

Tried to install it using the hardware wizard, but just can up with an error
message. Is there anything else I should have done?

Just double click on the file you downloaded and follow the onscreen prompts
and it should install for you.
