won't enter sleep mode

After pressing the hybernate button, everything works for
a moment. Then 2 seconds after entering sleep mode,
computer comes out of it.
Any ideas?

Suggestions:
1) Check Event Viewer to see if there is any mention of about hibernate
failing.

2) Check BIOS settings to see if an "Wake" settings are enabled. Examples:
Wake on Ring, Wake on LAN, Wake on RTC.
