Won't boot from CD, passes over CD after reading it and loads XP. (attempting to load windows64)

Attempting to load Windows64 beta OS on an emachines amd64 athlon, but when I boot up with the CD in the drive, the CPU reads the CD and then skips it going on to load XP Home instead of booting. For what reasons is this happening? What can be done to fix the problem?

Who made the CD disk?
