Wonderware InTouch Running on WinXP Embedded.

Hi, I've been trying to get Intouch to run of an XP embedded system.
I have tried just about everything from simple macros to Full XP
emulation, from building a component of this app to tracking file and
reg changes and going trough hundreds of .Dll's and making sure
everything is in the system... I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO!

THe installation goes trough seamlessly but as soon as i try to run the

app nothing happens...
i did a regmon and filemon on the app start process and verifyed that
he could find everything he needed and everything is there but some odd

reg keys. Could this be the problem? is there some windows component or

emulation .sld that will guarantee this app to install????

Has anybody seen this working? Any help and i mean any help at all!!!!
will be greatly appreciated.

first of all, does this app works on a retail XP pro ?
assuming yes, here is what I would do (very tedious but
may help)

1. install XP pro on D:
2. install XPe on C:

boot to C (xpe), with a script on XPe, delete files that
are NOT present in C: from D: partition (XP pro),
boot to D: (xp pro) try if the Intouch still works on
XP pro, if not, you are lucky. you know how to use dichotomy
to remove only half of files in XP pro and eventually find the
faulty files.
once faulty files found, you can know how to add components
to add in your slx.

now if even files on XP pro are identical, you may have registry
that differs, up to you to find out the difference, but this time
I do not know an easy way to do that.

since you are desperate, try the first approach anyway.
