Wndows Update has changed?

I have my system set to notify me automatically of critical updates but I
also visit the WU site regularly to check if there are any new features
available.
Until recently, WU has always offered me a list of 7 or 8 add-on features,
none of which were of interest to me. However, for the last few weeks, after
the scan it says there are no updates of any sort available.
Can anyone tell me if there has been a change in the way WU works?
Alternatively, does this indicate a problem?

I can understand that there are no new critical updates. The purpose of my
question was to ask why WU no longer offers me the 7 alternative updates
that it has always offered up to recently.
