.WMV file type

I created a 20 minutes video with Windows Movie Maker. I
can save i to my hard disk but it doesn't recognize my CD
drive to write it on CD. The CD drive works well in all
other situations.

I tried to burn the CD with Nero but Nero does not
recognize WMV files. It recognizeds only MPEG and AVI
files. Should I convert WMV file to MPEG? Do you know what
software would do that. I read many articles about video
and no one alks avout WMV files?
