WMV File Plays Sound but not Video in PowerPoint 2003

Help! I've inserted the wmv clip into my presentationmaking sure that the
files are kept with the presentation. The video starts to play but never
makes it past the opening sequence though the music/sound continues.

I have reinstalled Windows Media Player 11, updated my codecs and tested it
in the WMI player (successfully). Any quick suggestions to solve this
issue???

Were the vid and presentation in the same folder before you inserted?
Is the path to that folder short?
