.wmv file in ftp site.?

I get a sever error: write error on file . movie 07.wmv.tmp file when I try
to upload to my site using ftp. I created the .wmv file in microsoft movie
maker. Does anybody know what's going on and what I need to do to get this
..wmv file to upload to my site and play when page opens?
