I have lost the toolbar for Windows Media Player (v. 10). The toolbar
option is no longer available when I right click on the Taskbar. It
used
to be there but I think it was somehow removed when I did an extra
thorough disk cleanup last time. I would be very grateful for any
advice. Thanks!

See if this command helps, from Start/Run:

regsvr32 "%programfiles%\Windows Media Player\wmpband.dll"

Logoff and login back.

Thanks Ramesh, first for your super-fast response, and for
understanding that it was the Mini-bar that I had lost, I had not made
that completely clear in my post, and yes, your solution did the trick.
I also unlocked the taskbar which may have helped? Regards and thanks
again!

Hi gigabloke,

That command-line restores the missing "Windows Media Player" desk band
(supposed to appear when you right-click the Taskbar and choose the Toolbars
sub-menu).
