Does anyone know where the "recently used" file list, bottom of the
drop-down file list lives, or have I got to dig into the registry to clear
it ?

In OE you should sort the messages by the "From" name.

Did that, it's nowhere to be seen ! (I log directly on to the
msnew.microsoft.com ng server as well, 'cause my ISP strangles the ng's a
bit !) I did a search for "Ramesh" and it's not there among his posts,
nor is his response - so thanx to him and you anyway. ...I looked at all
the WMP tab menus several times - obviously not carefully enough - sure
enough there's a "Clear History" button ! I reckon it was hiding just
because I was looking for something like it !
