WMP 11 Library

When i installed WMP 11 and go into the Library there are no items and it says

"There are no items in this library yet - the player is searching for
digital media files in the background. click here to add files to the
library now"

when i click on it and pick my music folder and click add nothing happends
and nothing is ever added and when i go back into the click here the filder i
picked is now gone. any ideas on whats going on and how to fix it??

You may want to roll back to WMP10, there are too many issues
with WMP11 at present.

ok now im just wondering any idea when a new ...fixed version of WMP is going
to be released? and thank you for the info.

An updated version of WMP11 is incorporated in Vista which is available
on the market. Wouldn't buy it yet. The upgrade of Vista from
WindowsXP is $99, and the retail version runs about $199
