Hi, WMM crashes when I select " Capture from video device ". This all started
when I installed WinXP SP2 as I recall. I use a Sony PC110E camcorder and an
Asus A7N8X deluxe revision 2 motherboard and WinXP SP3 . Firewire stopped
working since SP2 and never worked ever again. SP3 didn't help. I can use my
camcorder with a friend's PC with WMM, it works fine. Just not with my PC.
I'm getting very much sick of this situation. Microsoft want money just to
speak to them. None of my DV applications will accept the camera since SP2.
e.g. DVIO crashes as well.
Anyone got a solution that actually solves this problem? I would very much
appreciated to get this problem solved once and for all. To know why it
happens would even be helpful!
