WMI and PerfMon

Hello

I am planning to use WMI for measuring performance of some system parameters
on Windows XP and higher versions of Windows.

While comparing the attributes (the actual attributes, not their values) I
found that PerfMon and WMI both expose the same attributes. Will they be
same in all the cases, or is there a chance that one of them might provide
any extra attribute which the other doesn't?
