wma to wav file??

Have a small PP show that's 235KB.
Have a .wma audio file that's 241KB but when I convert to .wav to embed it,
it ends up as a 3.46MB file.
Is this "normal" or am I doing something wrong?
Would like to be able to e-mail show but not at that size.

suggestions please,

I'm afraid that's normal.

You can try changing from stereo to mono (if it's not already mono, that is)
to cut the file size in half.
 
Thanks for the info.
Seems a shame that ONLY wav files can be embedded.
May need to get and learn a different program, if there is one.
