If this is the real deal then I don't know what the Windows Messenger crew
have been doing with their time because I can't see many changes in this
version. :-/

I can however not see much difference with version 4.7.

It is still not possible to login with the "Appear Offline" status.
I know that there is a workaround (blocking contacts) for that, but it does
not solve my problem: I have to many contacts that I would have to block
each time I logoff.

This is the only reason why I (and my contacts) are still not using
Messenger.
