Yesterday morning the electricity flicker off and back
on in an instant. My machine rebooted and got to
the "WELCOME" screen where I noticed it
had "c:\windows\system32\wlnotify.dll" under the word
welcome. When winxp finished loading, I could not move
the cursor with the mouse or the keyboard keys.I tried
rebooting acouple of times, but no werkee. I finally
navigated around enough with the hotkeys to be able to do
a "RESTORE" to git it to bootup properly. Any idee whut
happen???

Most likely some bit associated with the user that was logged on was
corrupted. Stuff like that happens when the power fluctuates. That is one
reason why using a file system capable of recovery and having backups is so
important.
