WLMD error on startup

Hope this is the right place for this message...have Windows Live Mail
Desktop running on Vista Home Premium upgrade to XP SP2.

When I start WLMD I get the message "recovering the desktop mail
database"...further when I go to that window it says "The message store has
been corrupted by an application external to WLMD. WLMD has been able to
successfully recover from this corruption. (0X00000000). When I close this
window, then WLMD starts ok.

How can I clear this up? Windows Live Mail starts without this message, but
Windows Live mail desktop gets it everytime. I'd rather use WLMD since I
can get messages from accounts other than Hotmail and it also incorporates a
Newsreader.

Would appreciate any help that can be provided.

Wrong group use microsoft.public.windows.live.desktop for WLMd questions.

The database is having problems. What you need to do is move the message
store folder to another location on the hard drive, then start WLMd and let
it build a new database.

Since the e-mails are stored in individual .eml files, you can drag and drop
them into a WLMd folder (I would suggest you create on in the On This
Computer folder).

Tools | Options | Advanced tab | Maintenance button | Store Folders button
will shwo the location of the WLMd message store.
