I am suddenly receiving an error message in a "Wlan Monitor" pop-up window.
This is happening upon booting up, and the error states:

Failed to open the registry
key!System\Current\Control
Set\Control\Class\4D36E972-E325-11CE-BFC1-O8002BE10318}-\0010

What is going on ?!? CAN ANYONE HELP ???

try system restore, pick a point before you recieved the error. If that
doesn't work try to recover windows.
system restore, you can find it in the systemrecovery folder.

run>cmd>regedi
HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

there should be one regestry key. If more delete them. Otherwise create a
string value, name it (Default), there shouldn't contain any data

Thank you, Nicoliani. I did end up having to restore my computer to its
original configuration as when I purchased it in order to get rid of this
problem.

I accidentally hit the "No" button on at the bottom of your post indicating
that tis did not solve the problem, but "Yes", your information did help.

Thanks very much!

Sue
