Wiress networking Xp to 98SE

I'm sure this question will have been asked over and over again,but could I
ask what difficulties there are with connecting two computers in the same
house, one with XP and the other with 98SE.

There are no network cards in either at the moment, so it would all be from
scratch.

There is no problem making a local area network with Win98x/ME and XP.
