I'm using the MS "Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0" and it works just fine. I'm
running the Intellipoint driver v 6.10.155.0 under Vista Ultimate on a Dell
XPS 600.
But there is an optional patch that available through Windows update that
will solve your problem. I don't remember the full name but it has HID and
Filter in the description. This patch will prevent the mouse from keeping
the PC awake.
