wireless setup and reformatting

hello

i am using windowx up on my desktop and my husband has a wireless
connection to his laptop. the wireless setup was installed on the desktop
by a professional technician.

question: i want to reformat my hard drive, will i need to have the
wireless install done again or will it be recognized upon restart?

thank you
 
any particular reason as to why you want/need to "reformat" the hd?
 
Presuming you're formatting the desktop, then no. All the necessary wireless
settings are contained in the router (the box with the antenna) and your
husband's laptop. So your desktop is totally out of that picture.
