I want a Linksys Wireless router. Can someone recommend a good wireless
router made by Linksys? It will be daisy chained to another Linksys router
(BEFSX41).

Thanks in advance!

If you already have a Wireless Router, just get a Wireless Access Point to
connect to the Wireless Router - you don't need another router.. Choose any
from their line that is compatable with your router - go to their web page.

I have a BEFSX41 and was looking into getting a WRT54G. I need more wired
ports and a few wireless.

P.S. His other router isn't wireless

but does have a four port switch for access point connection.

Ah - good point, but he still can use just a Wireless Access Point chained
to the Router. The Router will give the DHCP IPs, if he requires that
feature, and the Wireless access point will provide the wireless access.

Cheaper and often simpler setup.

Personally, if I already had a Router supplying DHCP server capabilities for
my Internet connection, I would purchase two other products in your case if
I needed more wired connections and wanted to add wireless capabilities: a
good/inexpensive 8 port switch and a wireless access point. I would connect
my Wireless Access Point directly to my current router and also the new
switch to the router.

This should leave two ports on the router itself to use how I see fit, 7 to
8 (depending on the switch you get) to use on the new switch and give you
wireless access. That is a total of 9 to 10 wired ports for your use and
254 - #_of_wired_points_used available for access to the Internet through
your router.

WAP54G - plugs straight into the router via cat5e cable or straight into
switch/hub.

My router plugs into switch (provides wired connections) as does my wireless
access point. Disable access point DHCP server and have router assign all
addresses.

What is a good wireless access point, and how do you connect it?

Buy a WAP54G. It's a Linksys, so it comes with full instrutions you
can handle. You managed to get your router running, right?

Well, I got a WRT54G and it was a snap to install. Only had to change the
IP address and disable DHCP, then daisy chained them by using port 4 on
both. It works great!
