1. Go to Start >> Control Panel >> Network and Internet Connections >>
Network Connections.
2. Right-click the 'Wireless Network Connection', then click
'Properties'.
3. Click the 'Wireless Networks' tab.
4. Double-click on the name of your wireless network, under 'Preferred
networks'.
5. Compare the settings on each tab (Association, Authentication,
Connection) of the computer that works to the settings on the computers
that are not working.
6. Change the settings on the computers that are not working to match
exactly those on the working computer.
Note: All computers should have exactly the same settings. If you
change settings on the router, you will need to make those same changes
on all computers that connect to that router.

You can follow this tutorial
http://www.leeindy.com/how_to_stay_connected_to_a_preferred_wireless_network.shtml
up to step 10, which shows the Connection tab.

Hi

As said above Wireless computer need to be set exactly as the Wireless
source.

Make sure that the computer works again at work.

Configure your home Wireless Router, and then configure the Laptop with a
second connection that should match your Home Wireless Router.

These are the options to do so, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#fewtcp-ip

This might help too.

Wireless - Basic Configuration: http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Config.html

Wireless Security - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html

I tried exactly what you guys suggested and I think I see the problem.
I had to change the name of the router from linksys to something else
so that it worked for my laptop. I also had to change SSID settings. I
now try to look at the available networks for wireless and the computer
that doesn't work is not recognizing the new network. I tried to
refresh, still it doesn't work. Basically it is the same router with a
different name and encryption enabled. What am I supposed to do ?

Thanks for your help.
